AI-powered solutions

Smarter systems.
Stronger business.

We help businesses cut costs and scale faster with intelligent systems built for the real world — no jargon, just results.

Three disciplines, one engineering team

Most firms pick one and subcontract the rest. We do all three in-house, which is what it takes when the AI has to write to the ledger and the ledger has to answer to an auditor.

  • AI engineering

Language models, retrieval and agents put to work inside real operations — with evaluation, guardrails and a human in the loop where the stakes need one.

  • Blockchain engineering

Smart contracts, tokenisation and on-chain settlement, written to be audited and built by people who treat an immutable deploy with the seriousness it deserves.

  • Complex platforms

The systems a business runs on. Integrations, workflow, money and compliance, designed to hold up years after launch.

The team you call when it cannot go wrong

Payments that have to reconcile. Contracts that cannot be redeployed. Patient records under POPIA. Work where a bug is not a bug report but an incident — that is the work we are built for, and the reason we would rather talk you out of a bad approach than bill you for it.

Senior engineers only, based in South Africa, working in your repositories and your timezone. No offshore hand-off, no junior learning on your budget, no layer of account management between you and the person writing the code.

Depth where the difficulty actually is

Anyone can stand up a chat widget or deploy a token. The hard part is everything around it — and that is what we are hired for.

  • AI engineering

Most AI projects fail on the unglamorous half: what the model is allowed to see, how you know it is right, and what happens when it is not. We build retrieval that cites its sources, evaluation you can point at a board, and workflows that degrade honestly instead of inventing an answer.

    • LLM systems
    • RAG pipelines
    • Agents & tool use
    • Evaluation & guardrails
    • Document intelligence
  • Blockchain engineering

On-chain work is unforgiving: the deploy is permanent, the code is public and the bugs are expensive. We write contracts to be read by an auditor, test them against the adversarial cases rather than the happy path, and are equally willing to tell you when a database is the better answer.

    • Smart contracts
    • Solidity & EVM
    • Tokenisation
    • Wallets & custody
    • Audit preparation
  • Complex software

Full-stack engineering for systems that carry real weight — money, records, compliance, other people’s customers. Typed end to end, tested where it counts, and documented so the next engineer inherits a system rather than a mystery.

    • Angular & TypeScript
    • Node & NestJS
    • PostgreSQL
    • API design
    • Legacy integration
  • Architecture & strategy

Before anything is built: what to build, what to buy, what to leave alone, and what it will cost to run. We would rather spend two weeks proving an approach than eighteen months discovering it was wrong.

    • Discovery
    • Technical due diligence
    • System design
    • Delivery roadmaps
  • Cloud & platform

Infrastructure as a deliberate design rather than an accident of deployment. Reproducible environments, observability from day one, and a cost line that stays legible as the system grows.

    • AWS & GCP
    • Docker
    • CI/CD
    • Observability
    • Disaster recovery
  • Ongoing partnership

Software is not finished at launch. We stay on as the team that knows the system — maintaining it, extending it, and keeping its dependencies and security posture current — so the knowledge does not walk out of the door with a contractor.

    • Maintenance
    • Feature delivery
    • Security updates
    • Support

Sectors where the details are unforgiving

Regulated, audited, or handling other people’s money and records. We work where getting it wrong is expensive, because that is where good engineering is worth paying for.

  • Financial services

Payments, lending and reconciliation — systems that must balance to the cent and answer to an auditor years later.

  • Insurance

Underwriting, claims and policy administration. Document-heavy work where a model may assist a decision and never make it unaccountably.

  • Gambling & iGaming

Wallets, settlement and player protection under a licence — where the regulator, the auditor and the fraud team all read the same logs.

  • Healthcare

Patient records, scheduling and clinical workflow, built to POPIA and handled like the sensitive data it is.

  • Legal & professional services

Contracts, matters and obligations. Extraction that cites the clause it came from, because a summary nobody can check is not evidence.

  • Energy & utilities

Generation, metering, wheeling and settlement — where the billing has to reconcile against physics and a regulator.

  • Logistics & supply chain

Fleet, freight and warehouse operations, with real-time visibility that survives contact with a bad signal.

  • Mining & resources

Production, safety and compliance reporting across sites that are remote, hostile to hardware, and audited to the gram.

  • Retail & e-commerce

Inventory, point of sale and customer data joined into one system instead of five that disagree.

Built secure. Owned by you.

Four commitments that hold on every engagement, whatever the contract says.

  • POPIA and GDPR by design

Consent, retention and the right to erasure are designed into the data model rather than bolted on before an audit. South African law is the baseline; European clients get the same handling without a second build.

  • Security in the engineering, not the invoice

Least-privilege access, encrypted storage, signed short-lived links to private files and an audit trail on every privileged action. Standard practice here, not a line item you have to ask for.

  • You own everything

The code, the infrastructure, the accounts and the documentation are yours from the first commit, in your repositories. No proprietary runtime, no hostage clause, and a handover that a different team could actually pick up.

  • Built to be maintained

Typed end to end, tested where a failure would cost something, and written so the reasoning survives in the code. The measure of the work is what it costs to change in two years, not how fast the demo arrived.

Bring us the hard one

The project that has been quoted three times and started once. Thirty minutes with the engineers who would build it, and a straight answer about what it takes — including whether you should build it at all.
